To get amazing experience with wildlife in Ranthambore National Park, there are two types of safari, one is jeep safari and the other is canter safari. Jungle safari is considered as the best way to explore wildlife in Ranthambore National Park. Every day, two safari shifts are held for a specified time in all zones of the park. Vehicles carrying tourists are allowed to enter the park with trained and expert nature guides.
In Ranthambore you can experience unforgettable jungle safari twice a day as jungle safari is conducted in two shifts every day. The safari timings vary according to the season keeping in mind the convenience of visitors in Ranthambore. The areas of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve where visitors are allowed for safari have been divided into 10 zones by the Forest Department. Visitors on a jungle safari in Ranthambore are allotted only one zone out of ten zones and are not allowed to move out of the allocated zone. Safari zones can be selected in advance based on availability when booking a safari.

A fixed route has been created by the forest department for the jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park, on which safari is carried out by jeeps and canters within a certain time. During the jungle safari, one can enjoy the open meadows of Ranthambore National Park and the remains of ancient monuments built within the park.
